FValdezLaw PC is an immigration law firm serving individuals, families, and employers. Founder Frances E. Valdez, J.D. became an immigration lawyer because she believes that every person has a human right to live freely and to pursue their dreams. She brings more than ten years of experience in removal defense, in family and employment immigration law. Frances also has extensive experience consulting with non-profit organizations in developing and managing community legal service programs. Under her direction, the firm approaches each case as though it were for a family member or close friend, giving a personalized approach to every case.

Clarissa L. Valdez

Clarissa L. Valdez joined the firm in 2009. She works closely with clients, drafting applications and petitions while guiding clients on the collection of supporting documentation for filing with the government. Clarissa also assists with research as needed.

Away from the office, Clarissa spends most of her time with her family and volunteering. She is an active member of the Junior League of Houston, Inc. In 2009 she joined four other Houstonians to found Latino Giving Houston, where she currently serves as treasurer. Clarissa is starting her second year as a board member of the Hispanic Health Coalition where she serves as the group’s secretary. She is an active member of the Paralegal division of the State Bar of Texas and also a Paralegal Member of the Texas Bar College.

Roberto Valdez
Office Manager

Roberto Valdez joined the firm in 2012. He graduated from the University of El Paso with a degree in Economics. Roberto is the person you will most likely have the most interaction with on a daily basis. He is usually the first person in the office and the last one to leave. Nothing makes him happier than having the privilege to help the immigrant community alongside his smart and talented daughters. He is the joy of the office. He enjoys spending time with his grandsons and sailing when the weather permits.
